The perfect companion
— for summer tees!

From t-shirts, shirts and summer shorts for men to voluminous tops and shift dresses for women, the screen printed penguin motif finds itself on the most discerning silhouettes. The only way to layer up this summer is with the delightful poplin jacket for men. Throw it over a tee and pair with fitted trousers for an evening out. The comfortable t-shirt gets a stylish update. Cut in supple poplin, it is complimented by immaculate placket and patch pocket details. The perfect companion for summer tees, the smartly tailored pair of shorts in soft poplin is elevated by the subtle penguin print. The playfulness of the penguin print adds a touch of whimsy to these wardrobe staples.

Dresses for Women
— Include the penguin print!

For women, the printed top gets an enthusiastic update. The draped detail adds a sense of fluidity to an otherwise structured top. Dresses for women include the penguin print dress with gathered sleeves which introduce subtle volume and just the right amount of movement.

The Joy Project
— Hand crafted Dolls!

The Joy Project rediscovers the joie de vivre , innately present in all of us, a little bit of childhood that we always carry with ourselves. Happiness takes a new form as Genes joins hands with Silai Wali to make hand crafted dolls for a nostalgic trip back to our childhood days. This collaboration is aimed at creating circular solutions by utilizing offcuts from past seasons and breathing new life into them, infusing them with the innocent quirks of growing up and the splendid creative spirit of childhood. The dolls are made by the inspiring Afghani women refugees in India through a longstanding social campaign by Silai Wali. Sustainability manifests in different forms and it pivots around taking responsibility to better the planet and the communities that share it at every step along the way. This project is another step in our commitment towards “sustainability” through “closing the loop” for our fabric waste. The donated post production fabric waste was hand sewn by the artisans, sustainably supported by the Silai Wali social enterprise, into two dolls exemplifying the ethos of the GenesTribe.
