At Genes Lecoanet Hemant, we take pride in the craftsmanship and quality of every piece we create. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Please read our Return and Refund Policy carefully before placing an order.
1. RETURNS
1.1 Eligibility
We accept returns on eligible items within 7 (seven) calendar days from the date of delivery. To qualify for a return, the following conditions must be met:
• The item must be unused, unworn, and in its original condition.
• All original tags, labels, and packaging must be intact and undamaged.
• The original invoice or order confirmation number must be presented.
• An unboxing video must be provided for claims related to wrong, defective, or damaged items. Requests without a valid unboxing video will not be accepted.
1.2 Non-Returnable Items
The following cannot be returned or exchanged under any circumstances:
• Items that have been worn, washed, altered, or show signs of use.
• Items bearing makeup stains, perfume, body odour, detergent smell, cuts, rips, tears, or any form of damage caused after delivery.
• Final-sale or heavily discounted items marked as non-returnable at the time of purchase.
• Gift cards and digital products.
• Custom or personalized orders.
1.3 How to Initiate a Return
You may initiate a return through any of the following channels within 7 days of delivery:

Once your return request is approved, our team will arrange a pickup from your delivery address. You are not required to ship the item yourself — we will coordinate the reverse pickup at no charge to you.
1.4 Return Inspection
All returned items undergo a quality inspection upon receipt at our warehouse. Inspection is completed within 1 business day of receiving the item. If the item passes inspection, your exchange or refund will be processed. If the item fails inspection (e.g., signs of use, damage, missing tags), it will be returned to you and no exchange or refund will be issued.
2. EXCHANGES
We offer exchanges for size, colour, or a different product within the same 7-day return window from the date of delivery.
• Exchanges are subject to stock availability.
• If the requested exchange item is out of stock, we will offer an alternative product of equal value or a full refund at your discretion.
• All shipping costs for exchanges are borne by Genes Lecoanet Hemant — there is no charge to you.
• Exchange items are dispatched within 1–3 business days after the returned item clears inspection.
3. REFUNDS
3.1 Refund Eligibility
Refunds are issued in the following circumstances:
• The item is confirmed defective, damaged, or incorrect upon delivery and supported by an unboxing video.
• The requested exchange item is unavailable and the customer opts for a refund.
• The order is lost in transit (confirmed by the courier partner).
• The order is cancelled before dispatch.
3.2 Refund Methods & Timelines
Refunds are processed to the original payment method. Processing begins within 1 business day of return approval. The timelines for the refund to reflect are as follows:

3.3 COD Refunds
For orders paid via Cash on Delivery, refunds are processed via bank transfer. You will be asked to provide your bank account details (account number and IFSC code) or UPI ID at the time of raising the refund request. Refunds are processed within 2–3 business days of receiving your bank details.
3.4 Shipping Charges
Original shipping charges (if any) are non-refundable. Return shipping is arranged and paid for by Genes Lecoanet Hemant and will not be deducted from your refund.
3.5 No Deductions
We do not charge any restocking fee, COD handling fee, or payment gateway charges on refunds.
4. ORDERS LOST IN TRANSIT
If your order is lost in transit, we will initiate a full refund or replacement (at your choice) upon receiving confirmation from the courier partner. Please allow 48–72 hours for us to investigate with the courier before a resolution is issued.
