A velvet halter top cut wide and loose, falling from the neckline into a gathered bubble hem. A braided velvet strap fastens at the nape and leaves the back open. Tonal appliques are worked with faceted stones and fine beadwork, scattered across the front. The pile stays matte until the stones catch the light.
