A deep purple velvet dress built on tailoring lines. The halter collar rises from a deep V and leaves the back open, while a seamed front and flap pockets borrow from a jacket. Tonal velvet appliques are filled with faceted stones and fine beadwork, scattered from shoulder through to hem. The pile shifts between wine and magenta as it turns in the light.
